Terms of use

Using rustserverstats.world means accepting the terms below. They describe how the data is gathered and what the site does and does not promise.

The site is provided as it is. Figures are drawn from Steam's public Rust server list and from servers directly, refreshed every five minutes. A server can report a wipe late, publish a name that does not match what it runs, or let a player count lag between refreshes. Treat every table as a snapshot taken at the stated time, not as a guarantee.

Using the site. Browsing and comparing servers needs no account and no payment. Do not send rapid repeated requests to pages, as this slows the site for other players. Requests for a full dataset should go to hello@rustserverstats.world.

Crawlers and AI tools. Search engines, bots and AI crawlers are welcome. Read robots.txt and llms.txt before fetching; they set out what lives where. Keep the fetch rate low enough that ordinary visitors still get fast pages.

Server owners. A server is listed because it appears on the public list. Everything on its page comes from what the server itself publishes: name, tags, wipe times, player slots. To change what is shown, change it on the server; most edits are picked up within five minutes. See the full server list for how pages are addressed.

Not affiliated. Rust Server Stats is independent of Facepunch Studios. Rust is a trademark of Facepunch Studios.

Changes. These terms may change without notice. The date below records the last revision. Continued use of the site after a revision means the updated terms apply.

Q.Questionsand their answers

1.Where does Rust Server Stats get its server data?

Data comes from Steam's public Rust server list and from the servers themselves, and is refreshed every five minutes. Each page shows a figure as recorded at its last refresh. Where a server reports late or inaccurately, the site displays what was reported.

2.Does Rust Server Stats guarantee that its figures are accurate?

No. The site is provided as it is, and a player count can lag, a wipe can be reported late and a server name can be wrong. Treat each table as a snapshot from the stated time rather than a guarantee. Cross-checking a server's own listing before a wipe is sensible.

3.Can a server owner change what appears on their page?

Not by asking the site. Every field on a server page is taken from what the server publishes, so the change must be made on the server itself. Most edits are picked up within five minutes of the next refresh.
