Rust server list

Rank is set by hourly player counts over the previous seven days, so the leader is the server that has held population longest, not the one busiest at this moment. The records show the two orders often disagree just after a wipe. Sort the table by rank for the steadier list.

Every five minutes the site reads Steam's public Rust server list and queries each server for details such as map seed, entity count and uptime. A refresh time is printed with the table. A server that drops offline is removed at the next refresh rather than left standing.

It gives the date a server last generated a new world. Servers marked as resets rebuild the map every few hours, which is common on aim-train, arena and build servers where the map is not meant to last. Wipe schedules for the week ahead sit on the wipe schedule page.

The rank covers seven days and the players count covers the last refresh. A server between wipes, or outside its region's evening, can show few players and keep its place in the order. Of note: a queue longer than zero means the server is full, not empty.
